The International center for Tortoise Conservation was established by Dr. Ido Zuri, a zoologist (PhD) who spent many years studying wildlife. He was recently awarded with a Veterinarian (DVM) Diploma. Dr. Zuri’s personal and research interests: Herpetology with an emphasis on tortoise ecology and conservation; The Vomeronasal organ; olfaction; Tiliqua rugosa; Corucia zebrata.

Zoological coordinator and breeding program manager

Mr. Shalom Hayat’s field of interest lies in chelonia breeding and conservation as well as amphibian conservation and ecology.

Law consultant

Mr. Uri Daniel- Attorney, counselor at law. Mr. Daniel has a special interest in wildlife conservation and reptile protection.
