Support

Financial contributions are welcomed and will be invested directly into building
and developing new breeding arenas for the tortoises. In addition, we request
from anyone that could donate tortoises from the species listed in our
“breeding program” to contact us via e-mail or phone. We will arrange the S&H
after getting all permits required and will introduce the tortoise in the breeding
colony.
* We are looking for donations of founder breeders.
Founders that will be contributing to our breeding colonies will be named
following their donor and the first offspring provided will be released back to
nature if possible.

Recently we received to our center a contribution of two adult male Indotestudo elongata. This species is categorized as Endangered by The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, and without the creation of breeding centers to save it, we believe that soon it will become extinct.

The generous donation was given by Mr. Dan Raveh, an attorney-at-law, that also established the tortoise and turtle community in Israel. We also thank The Zoological Center Safari Ramat-Gan for their willingness to take part in that contribution.

We now seek a donation of adult female/s Indotestudo elongata for the establishment of the breeding center of this species. Other species of Indotestudo are needed as well. The offspring of the future colony will be donated to Zoos worldwide and hopefully will be released back to nature in the future.
