Hi, I live in Argentina and it imposible to obtain any book information from abroad. My tortoise has had 6 eggs and I have puet them under a special light that gives heat on caton. the voces from which we buy chicken eggs. And I put wáter underneatch that does not touch the eggs. I would like to know if this is correct? Also the mothr has now a very soft carcass underneath. What should I do? Here there are no tortoise vets. Very difficult to know what to do.

For the eggs, as long as the eggs stay dry but the cage is humid from the water down- this is ok. Do not over-warm the eggs. 30-32 Degrees Celsius are fine.
